  • 27th China-Japan-South Korea Youth Games (Aug. 23-29)

    The China-Japan-South Korea Youth Games began in 1993 and are held annually in China, Japan, or South Korea. This year’s competition is held in Changsha between August 23 and 29. There are 10 events including track and field, handball, football, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, badminton, tennis, soft tennis, and rugby.

  • Free Performances at Hunan Cultural Center (Aug. 15-16)

    The photo, taken on the afternoon of August 7, shows actresses staging an acrobatic performance at the Hunan Cultural Center.The center organized public welfare acrobatics, shadow puppetry, and puppet show performances that day to enrich children's summer vacation. These performances will also be staged on August 15 and 16. In addition, free films will be shown every Monday afternoon in August for children to enjoy their summer vocation.

  • Overseas Chinese Merchants and Experts Gathering in Hunan (Aug. 1-3)

    The 5th “Overseas Chinese Merchants and Experts Gathering in Hunan” event began on August 1. More than 100 overseas doctoral researchers and overseas Chinese merchants arrived in Changsha to participate. The event is hosted by the Hunan Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese and the Changsha Municipal People's Government.

  • Changsha International Marathon 2019 Registration (July 26-Aug.11)

    The press conference and registration launching ceremony of the Changsha International Marathon 2019 was held at the Helong Sports Center, Changsha on July 25. This year’s race will begin at 7:30 on October 27.

  • Summer Vocation Activity at Hunan Cultural Center (July 16-Aug. 30)

    A summer vacation activity for primary and secondary students was inaugurated at the Hunan Cultural Center that day. It was part of the Hunan Intangible Cultural Heritage Experience Exhibition series activities hosted by the Hunan Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center.

  • 6th China-Russia “Yangtze River-the Volga” Youth Forum (July 16-27)

    The 6th China-Russia “Yangtze River-the Volga” Youth Forum opened at Hunan University, Changsha, on July 16, 2019. The attendees included 132 Russian youths from 14 Russian federal subjects, and 180 Chinese youth representatives from six Chinese provinces (municipalities) along the upper and middle reaches of the Yangtze River. They will have 12-day exchange activities, to have a taste of Hunan culture, and consolidate friendships.
