2020 China New Media Conference (Nov. 19-20)
The 2020 China New Media Conference will be held in Changsha from November 19 to 20. During the conference, persons in charge of competent departments will interpret relevant policies, and top Chinese new media experts will share cutting-edge views, innovative experience, and new media technologies.
The conference is the most authoritative, iconic and professional annual event in the field of new media in China. This year’s theme is “keeping to the right path to concentrate efforts for innovation and harmony". The conference will be a platform to present high-quality works and deepen cooperation in the field of new media. It promotes the healthy and orderly development of the industry and plays a greater role in the modernization of national governance.
Latest research results on the development of the new media industry will be released, including the 2020 China New Media Research Report and 2019 China New Media Yearbook. Special forums on content innovation, new ecology, and social security of new media will be held. China’s top ten new media coverage of the fight against COVID-19 in 2020 and China’s top ten new media coverage of poverty alleviation in 2020 will be released.
Themed "Walking into Malanshan Cultural and Creative Industrial Park", a special exhibition consisting of three parts will be held. Participants will learn about Hunan’s new ways and achievements on deepening cultural integration and innovation, and new opportunities for the integration of 5G, artificial intelligence, and new media.
The conference is under the guidance of the Cyberspace Administration of China, National Radio and Television Administration, and Hunan Provincial People's Government. It is hosted by the All-China Journalists Association (ACJA) and the Publicity Department of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, and organized by the ACJA New Media Professional Committee and the Office of Cyberspace Affairs Commission of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, Hunan Provincial Radio and Television Bureau, Hunan Journalists Association, and Changsha Municipal People’s Government.
