China (Liuyang) Int'l Fireworks Cultural Festival (May 10-11)

The 14th China (Liuyang) International Fireworks Cultural Festival will take place in Liuyang between May 10 and 11.
Themed “Idyllic Liuyang River and Spectacular Liuyang Fireworks”, the biennial festival includes six theme activities: an opening ceremony and a fireworks show; 2019 Liuyang Fireworks Conference (LFC); Fireworks Craftsmen Selection; 2019 Liuyang Fireworks Trade Fair; Urban Emergency Management Forum; and, 2019 Key Projects Promotion and Signing Ceremony.
At the opening ceremony, a novel scenario-based fireworks show will be staged to feast spectators’ eyes. The ceremony will come to a climax when a 100-drone fireworks show lights up the skyline over the Liuyang River and 14 flyboard riders wearing fireworks devices put on performances.
Four world-class fireworks teams from Japan, South Korea, Italy and the Netherlands that were selected from around the world will compete on May 11, to showcase their cutting-edge technologies featured with local cultures.
Participants from home and abroad will meet at Liuyang's new landmark: a building complex of Liuyang Planning Exhibition Hall, Museum, and Library, to participate in the 2019 Liuyang Fireworks Trade Fair held from May 10 to 12. They will have the chance to experience the latest products and technologies in fireworks industry.
