The massive fireworks show lasted about 20 minutes, drawing hundreds of local residents and tourists to both banks of Xiangjiang River, a major tributary to the Yangtze.
Lucky visitors who booked a seat for the only cruise on the Juzhou Ferry were able to appreciate the splendid fireworks from the river itself while enjoying night views of the Hunan province capital.
