Agriculture fair showcases products from around the world
The fair is an important platform for demonstrating the latest agricultural achievements and promoting exchanges among companies from different regions.
It has been held in the city in the past 18 years. Last year, some 1,500 exhibitors took part and signed deals worth 20.5 billion yuan ($2.98 billion).

"It is my first time to attend the fair and I hope to cooperate with more Chinese companies in the future," said one Malaysian exhibitor.
"We would like to take this opportunity to investigate the Hunan market and plan to promote African products in China," said a commerce chamber leader from Africa.
Open until Dec 5, the fair will also include a series of activities such as an agriculture forum, an award ceremony, and a matchmaking event for Chinese companies and foreign companies.
