China Southern Airlines on Wednesday launched a direct flight between Nairobi and Changsha, the capital city of China's Hunan Province.

At 6:43 a.m. on June 12 (local time), the first Changsha - Nairobi flight CZ6043 arrived at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) in Nairobi after a flight of 10 hours and 43 minutes. This marked that the first Hunan-Africa direct flight successfully made its maiden flight.
