  • Changsha Cultural Tourism-themed Subway Train Launched

    A flash mob performance was staged on a Changsha Metro Line 3 train at 11: 30 a.m. on July 18, attracting many passengers. The train departed from the Shantang Station on the Changsha Metro Line 3. It was the first Changsha cultural tourism-themed subway train operated to promote the city’s tourism products.

  • Second Section of Tanzhou Avenue Opens to Traffic

    The second section of Tanzhou Avenue completed its main part of construction and opened to traffic on July 13, about three months earlier than scheduled. This section between Liantang Road and Lianping Avenue used to be a two-way six-lane road. After construction, it was broadened to become a two-way ten-lane one, with 6 main roads and 4 auxiliary roads.

  • Changsha Opens New Urban Trunk Road to Xiangtan

    The Changsha Xiaoxiang Avenue Section 3 Project, and the Xiangjiang River West Bank Levee Upgrading Project (Xunfu Road – Xiangtan’s Jiuhua) were recently accepted and opened to traffic.

  • Xiaoxiang Avenue West Line Opens to Traffic

    The Xiaoxiang Avenue West Line Project, stretching from Qingfeng South Road to Xunfu Road, was undertaken by the China Construction 5th Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd. It is an important vertical line in the Dawangshan Tourist Resort, and also a first-class urban road planned and constructed between Changsha and Xiangtan.

  • Hunan Has Its First Local-based Airline

    The Hunan Hongtu Airlines Co., Ltd. was settled in the Changsha Airport Economic Demonstration Zone on July 2. It is Hunan’s first local airline. Formerly the Yunnan Hongtu Airlines, it changed its registered address into Changsha and was renamed the Hunan Hongtu Airlines on December 7 last year.

  • Changsha Xiangfu Road Expressway Fully Opens to Traffic

    ​The main line of the Changsha Xiangfu Road upgrading project fully opened to traffic on July 1 morning. After opening, it only takes drivers about 15 minutes to drive from Hexi to the Changsha South Railway Station as there are no traffic lights in the whole section of the expressway.
