Passenger Train Service at Changsha West Railway Station Suspended
The Changsha West Railway Station started to suspend its passenger train service since May 8, to cooperate with the station’s renovation project which is to join the Changde-Yiyang-Changsha Railway and the Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan Intercity Railway.
Passenger trains from Zhuzhou’s Dafeng Railway Station and Xiangtan Railway Station to the Changsha West Railway Station will arrive at Changsha’s Lugu Railway Station. Passenger trains from Changsha West Railway Station to Zhuzhou’s Dafeng Railway Station and Xiangtan Railway Station will depart from Changsha’s Lugu Railway Station.
The Changsha West Railway Station is expected to resume its passenger train service when the Changde-Yiyang-Changsha Railway is opened to traffic.
The train operation diagram has been adjusted accordingly. The stops and times of some trains between Changsha West Railway Station and Changsha Station have been changed.
All the Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan intercity trains bound for the Changsha West Railway Station will change their destination to Changsha’s Lugu Railway Station. The stops and times of 20 Changsha West Railway Station-Changsha Station trains (including cross-line trains) have been adjusted.
The numbers, times and stops of trains from Changsha to Zhuzhou and Xiangtan will remain unchanged. In addition, the number and train numbers of Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan intercity trains will remain unchanged, which is consistent with the current train operation diagram.
