Hunan Fully Resumes Road Passenger Transportation
The Hunan Provincial Road Transportation Management Bureau announced on March 28 that, tourism and chartered bus transportation across Hunan would be resumed from that day. So far, Hunan's road passenger transport, including coach and tourism chartered bus services, have been completely resumed.
From March 28, inter-provincial coach service between Hunan and other low-risk regions outside the province (except Wuhan and Beijing) has also resumed. Meanwhile, “point-to-point” chartered bus transportation between Wuhan and Hunan organized by the governments would be available.
The Hunan Provincial Road Transportation Management Bureau noted that, Wuhan migrant workers with green health codes granted by Hubei health authorities will be directly sent to their destinations in Hunan, after passing nucleic acid testing. Chartered buses with standard vehicle permits of their operators, can enjoy the priority to pass without stop for inspection and charge.
Passengers, drivers and conductors are required to wear masks during the rides. Long-distance passenger vehicles must stop off for rest between 2 and 5 am.
From April 8, inter-provincial chartered buses from Hunan to other low-risk regions outside the province, tourist passenger transportation (except for Beijing), and cross-province bus transport to middle-risk regions will be fully resumed. Passengers are not allowed to get on and off in high-risk regions.
