Changsha Airport Promotes More Intelligent Services during National Day Holidays

The Changsha Huanghua International Airport has launched a series of intelligent services, such as self-service verification, face recognition, and self-service pass through the gates ahead of the Golden Week—National Day Holiday. These measures enable passengers to experience smarter, more comfortable and more convenient airport services.

At present, the self-service verification and face recognition equipment have been put into use at one security inspection channel and one boarding gate at T1 terminal. Both manual service and self-service are available.

In the past, passengers had to spend long time in check-in and baggage check. With the new facilities, the airport provides an all-procedure intelligent pass service on the C check-in counter of T2 terminal. Check-in and baggage check can be made by passengers themselves.

A self-service inquiry terminal was also installed inside the airport. Passengers can scan their tickets or ID cards on the terminal to check baggage condition, flight update, and passenger guidance service. At the same time, smart boarding, intelligent AI customer service, and robot service are available to guarantee convenient trips for passengers.
