Changsha-Nepal Direct Flight to Open November 20
The Hunan Airport Corporation announced on October 13 that a regular direct flight between Changsha and Nepal’s capital Kathmandu will begin on November 20. This will be Hunan’s first direct air route to South Asia. The new route will be operated by Himalaya Airlines every Wednesday. A one-way trip will take about 4 hours. Specific flight schedules will be released soon.
Newly-built 3D Parking Lot at Houhu Lake New Village

Changsha’s Metro Network Sees over 10 Mln Passenger Trips Between Sept. 30 and Oct. 7
Changsha’s three metro lines handled record passenger trips of 10.331 million between September 30 and October 7 , the Changsha Metro Group said on October 9. Between September 30 and October 7, there were an average of 1,190 metro trains operated every day. The total passenger flow handled by Changsha’s metro network set new daily records high of 1.32 million and 1.41 million on September 30 and October 1 respectively.
Changsha Huanghua International Airport Handles 561,000 Passenger Trips during National Day Holiday
The Changsha Huanghua International Airport handled 561,000 trips and operated 3,978 flights during the 7-day National Day holiday, respectively increasing by 3.8% and 5.9% over last year. The number of Chinese and foreign passenger trips hit 50,000, up 10.3%.
New Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan Intercity Railway Operation Plan Starts Oct. 11
It was learnt on October 8 that 364,000 passenger trips were made by the Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan Intercity Railway during the National Day holiday, also the Chinese “Golden Week”, a year-on-year increase of 29.7%. The daily average was 45,500. A new record of daily passenger throughput was set on Oct.1, with 67,300 trips handled.
Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway East Auxiliary Lane Completed
