  • Hunan Fully Resumes Road Passenger Transportation

    The Hunan Provincial Road Transportation Management Bureau announced on March 28 that, tourism and chartered bus transportation across Hunan would be resumed from that day. So far, Hunan's road passenger transport, including coach and tourism chartered bus services, have been completely resumed.

    The China-Europe (Changsha) Freight Train adds a new route to Moscow. The first Changsha-Moscow freight train departed from the Changsha North Freight Station on the afternoon of March 24. It will arrive at Mosco’s Vorsino Station in 14 days.

  • Changsha Metro Construction Resumed

    Changsha has fully resumed subway construction of metro lines. As for metro line 6, the shield section at Huangli Road has been tunneled through, and the left line of the section between Liugoulong and Wenchangge stations started slurry shield work. The metro lines 3 and 5 are undergoing joint debugging and test, and will be put into trial operation this July.

    According to the Changsha Metro notice, in order to cooperate with the construction of Changsha Metro Line 5, No. 5 and 6 entrances and exits at Wanjiali Square Station of Changsha Metro Line 2 will be temporarily closed starting from March 21, with a duration of 30 days. The No. 4 entrance and exit resume normal operation at this station. Please choose No. 2, 3, 4, and 4A for your travel. We apologize for the inconvenience.

    The Changsha Metro announced on March 18 that, in order to cooperate with the reopening of the Orange Isle Scenic Area, the Juzizhou (Orange Isle) Station on Changsha Metro Line 2 resumes normal operation from March 19.

  • Changsha Suspends Flights to Bangkok, Thailand

    Due to the grim COVID-19 epidemic situation worldwide, the number of direct flights from abroad to Hunan has decreased. The Changsha Huanghua International Airport announced on March 17 that, flights between Changsha and Bangkok, Thailand will be suspended starting March 16.
