Changsha South Bus Station to Be Put into Trial Operation by Year-End

Newly-renovated Moon Island Bridge Reopens to Traffic
The photo, taken on November 25, shows the newly-renovated Moon Island Bridge section of the Changsha Belt Expressway. It has reopened to two-way traffic till that day. The northwest section of the Changsha Belt Expressway started renovation and upgrading at the end of August. The Moon Island Bridge has got its deck fully paved and its main bridge telescopic device repaired. The driving environment has been obviously improved.
Changsha-Kathmandu Direct Fight Opens
A maiden flight connecting Changsha, capital city of Hunan Province, and Kathmandu, capital of Nepal, was launched on November 20, 2019. It is the first direct and fastest route between central China and Nepal.
Universal Electronic Toll Collection Coming to Hunan Expressway Toll Stations
The Hunan Expressway Network Toll Collection Center (HENTCC) announced on November 24 that, as of November 18, there were about 5.75 million provincial expressway Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) users. Beginning January 1 next year, toll stations across the province primarily rely on ETC. Toll stations will have only one manual/ ETC hybrid lane. Drivers are recommended to install ETC on their vehicles as soon as possible.
New East-west Secondary Road to Open in Dawang Mountain Area
The photo, taken on November 21, shows the second section of Baxi Avenue in the Xiangjiang New Area has been completed. The avenue will fully open to traffic soon. Baxi Avenue, stretching from Pingning Road to Xiaoxiang Avenue East Line, is about 2.4 kilometers in length and 26 meters in width. It will become a new east-west secondary road in the Dawang Mountain area.
Wangcheng’s First Underground Urban Tunnel Construction in Full Swing
The photo, taken on November 18, shows a worker works at the construction site of the Purui Tunnel Project on Yueliangdao (Moon Island) Road in Wangcheng District, Changsha. The tunnel is the first underground urban tunnel in Wangcheng District. It starts from Leifeng Avenue in the west, passes through Purui Sibao Community, and ends at Wujiachong Road in the east.
