Its brand value was an industry high 35.5 billion yuan in 2014, the 11th consecutive year the company has led China’s tourism sector.
It signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Hunan government at the end of May 2016. "Hunan is a province with rich historical and cultural resources and we are attracted by the government's support for tourism and Hunan people’s positive consumption attitude," said Yu Ningning, the vice-president of CITS Group and the chairman and general manager of the head office. "After entering Hunan, we will advocate standardized operation and promote Hunan via 19 overseas visa centers to boost the inbound tourism market here."
The Hunan branch of CITS will provide more travel products for Hunan tourists with high-quality service and favorable prices. It has already opened chartered flights from Changsha to Cambodia, Vietnam and Thailand, and flights to Sri Lanka, Guam, Saipan and Turkey are coming soon.
