Several Cultural Venues in Furong District Reopen
The Longping Rice Museum, Hunan Peaceful Liberation History Museum, and Furong District Cultural Center in Furong District, Changsha reopen to the public starting March 25, according to the district government. The Furong District Library resumed operation on March 23, and other cultural venues in the district will be reopened to the public gradually.
The person in charge of relevant department said that, in order to ensure visitors’ safety, all major venues have adopted a series of strict epidemic prevention measures such as disinfection before reopening. For example, the Longping Rice Museum and Hunan Peaceful Liberation History Museum currently do not accept group visits, nor do they provide guide services. They also strictly control the total number of daily visitors and the number of visitors in different specific periods. All visitors are required to make an appointment in advance.
At present, the Furong District Library only resumes the services of borrowing and returning books and issuing or returning library card, and does not offer indoors reading service. The Furong District Cultural Center only opens its dance classrooms and multi-functional classrooms. It only accepts one group reservation every half day, and the group number should not exceed 10. All visitors are required to wear masks, register with their real names and have their temperature checked.
