Hunan Tan Guobin Contemporary Art Museum
Hunan Tan Guobin Contemporary Art Museum was founded by Mr. Tan Guobin in 2005. Approved by the Hunan Provincial Bureau of Cultural Heritage, the Museum mainly collects and exhibits ancient and modern paintings and calligraphy, porcelain, classical furniture, and contemporary oil painting sculptures.
The Museum has a new site now. It is located at Xiangjiang Yihao at the intersection of North Xiangjiang Road and Chuangyuan Road, Kaifu District, Changsha City. The exhibition area is over 6000 square meters, and the exhibition hall is about 4.5 meters high. It can offer better conditions for experiencing, effectively meet the diverse exhibition needs, and perform the public education function of the private museum.
Currently, the Museum has held and organized more than 10 exhibitions, among which the “Art Node”, “Art Changsha 2007”, “Art Changsha 2009”, “Art Changsha 2011”, “Zou Chuanan’s Painting Exhibition”, and “Art Changsha 2013” have exerted significant influence both at home and abroad, and developed into an art brand.
