  • Yanghu Wetland Park, a New “Green Lung” of Changsha City

    The photo, taken on May 30, shows the Changsha Yanghu Wetland Park under the blue sky and white clouds, presenting an amazing green ecology scene. The park has a total area of 4.85 square kilometers and is the largest urban wetland scenic spot in central China.

  • Two Hunan Museums Now Ranked as Influential

    The 2019 Annual Assessment Report on Internationally Influential Chinese Museums and Exhibitions has been released. It was compiled by the Cultural Relics Exchange Think Tank and Art Exhibitions China. Two Hunan museums were added to the ranks of internationally-influential Chinese museums.

  • “Natural Oxygen Bar” to Be Built in North Changsha

    The park, located between Xiangjiang North Road and Furong Road, is the only city-level comprehensive park adjacent to the river planned to be built in the north of Changsha. It covers an area of 1,155 mu (77 ha.). So far, construction on the park’s interior facilities has been fully started. Upon completion, the park’s green rate can reach 95%, and it will become one of the most important “natural oxygen bars” in north Changsha.

    The plaque-awarding ceremony of Hunan’s top ten cultural tourism landmarks in 2019 was held at the Taohuayuan Scenic Area in Changde on May 19. Yuelu Mountain in Changsha is among the 10 landmark scenic areas.

  • Xiangjiang Joy Town Amusement Park to Open This Summer

    On April 26, the Xiangjiang Joy Town Amusement Park, Dawangshan Mountain Tourist Resort, Xiangjiang New Area, Hunan Province, presented to the media for the first time the key areas of its two amusement projects -- "Happy Snowfield" and "Happy Water Village”. This summer, tourists can experience both ice and snow sports and water activities there.
