Cogdel Cranleigh School Changsha

Cogdel Cranleigh School Changsha is a private K12 international school jointly established by the Hunan Future Group, the Cogdel Education Group, and the Cranleigh School, a century-old private school in the UK. It is Cranleigh School’s fourth campus opened in the world after London, Abu Dhabi and Chengdu. It opened to students on August 31, 2020. 

The school is located at No. 117, Lixin Street, Langli Subdistrict, Changsha Economic and Technological Development Zone, Hunan. It covers an area of 124 mu (about 8.27 hectares, or 82,666.67 square meters), with a total construction area of 83,000 square meters. It offers the primary, middle and high school phases of education, with a planned enrollment of 1800 students. It adopts the Chinese-English bilingual small-class teaching and the Optional Class System. It is a boarding school. It is Hunan’s first private high-level K12 international school. 

Pupils will follow a Chinese education model in the primary and middle school sections with a strong emphasis on English and the core values of a Cranleigh education, this is then taken further in the high school phase with IGCSE/A-Level, AP, and IB courses being taught, designed to assist student passage to UK, US and other overseas universities.
