Changsha to Host 27th China-Japan-South Korea Youth Game
The 26th China-Japan-South Korea Youth Games was held in Yeosu, South Korea from August 23rd to 29th. A Chinese sports delegation of 228 people participated in 10 events, including track and field, handball, football, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, badminton, tennis, soft tennis and rugby. Changsha is the next host city. On the afternoon of August 28th, Chen Zhong, deputy director of the 27th China-Japan-South Korea Youth Games Preparatory Work Committee and deputy mayor of Changsha Municipal People's Government and his entourage came to Yeosu Sports Complex to learn its experiences and paid a visit to Changsha born athletes in South Korea.
Chen Zhong said that since the day when Changsha won the bid for hosting the 27th China-Japan-South Korea Youth Games in 2016, it has made necessary preparatory work. A high-standard organization was established to build and upgrade competition venues according to the requirements of the event. Changsha sincerely welcome young athletes from Japan and South Korea to come here next year to experience the unique charm of a “Happy Changsha”.
