Nianjia Lake: a beauty and no mistake
Hunan Martyr's Park sits slap-bang at the center of Changsha and is the city's largest and most popular urban park. As one of China's National Key Parks, it is only fitting that it is packed full of interesting things for visitors to do and see, including its many monuments, bridges and lakes.
One such watery body is the man-made Nianjia Lake that is located in the middle of the park like blob of jelly in the middle of a doughnut, lined with sweet-smelling redwoods and maples, and a place for a little excitement.
