Changsha's colors of early winter

Changsha, Hunan province capital, doles out picturesque views no matter what time of year, but winter holds a special place in many a heart for its powerful color pallet which switches from verdant green to deep reds and browns.

 

The Evening Enjoying Pavilion flaunts its ancient Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) style, planted firm at the foot of Yuelu Mountain and haloed by golden brown leaves.
