Foreign Mainstream Media Delegation Visits Changsha
A delegation composed of reporters from 11 international mainstream media gathered in Changsha to “decode” its charm through a 3-day “Find Changsha” press tour from October 18 to 20. This activity was co-sponsored by the Publicity Department of the CPC Changsha Municipal Committee and the News Information Center of Xinhua News Agency.

On October 7, an overseas Chinese media delegation arrived in Changsha to begin its tour of Hunan. The delegates are senior managers from 27 Chinese media in 15 countries and regions, including the U.S.A, Canada, the U.K, Australia, Japan, and Thailand.

Hunan embroidery master Hu Yiping is busy embroidering a Chinese national flag with a length of 1.9 meters and width of 1.28 meters. African girl Jose stands beside her, waiting to deliver this embroidery to her Chinese boss Wang Senbo. Wang works in Uganda. He ordered this embroider half a month ahead of the National Day, to extend his love to the hometown and the motherland.
Lao Agricultural Technical Training Held in Hunan
On September 17, a modern agricultural technical training and a hybrid rice technical training for Lao technical personnel opened at Hunan Agricultural University. Twenty-nine agricultural cadres and technicians from the local governments of Vientiane City, Oudomxay Province, Savannakhet Province, and Lao National Agriculture and Forestry Research Institute, participate in this 12-day training course.
Our Festival - Mid-Autumn Festival
The photo, taken on September 13, shows international students making mooncakes at the African Cultural Theme Pavilion in Changsha to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival. On that day, the African Cultural Theme Pavilion of the Hunan Intangible Cultural Heritage Hall in Yuhua District, Changsha held a “Mid-Autumn Festival Reunion” cultural exchange activity. More than 10 international students made mooncakes with Changsha residents to experience the air of festivity.
