Ethiopian Youth Delegate’s Trip in Changsha
On August 28, President Xi Jinping wrote back to Hannah Getachu, a youth representative who participated in the International Youth Forum: Creativity and Heritage along the Silk Road held in this May. In his letter, Xi wrote that young people are the future of their countries. He encouraged them to make their own efforts for the building of a community with shared future for humanity.
Hannah Getachu, or Wu Hanna in Chinese was from Ethiopia. She is currently studying at Peking University. After attending this forum, her friends and she stayed in Changsha for several days. They visited many cultural landmarks, tasted special snacks and experienced local customs. Through the city of Changsha, the “City of Media Arts”, they knew about China’s unique traditional culture and broaden their horizons.

Li Zijian Art Museum
Li Zijian Art Musuem was solely invested and built by US-based Hunan-born painter Li Zijian and his wife Dan Hui. It is located in Xiangjiang New Area. Adjacent to Yanghu Wetland Park, it covers an area of 10,000 sqm, a building area of 25,000 sqm, and a green area of 120,000 sqm. It is the world’s largest personal art museum.
