  • Changsha Wins Its 12th “Happiest Cities in China” Award

    The China Happy Cities Forum was held in Guangzhou on November 25. The results of the 13th “Happiest Cities in China” Survey and Selection were released during the forum. Changsha was on the list of the “Happiest Cities in China 2019”. This is Changsha’s 12th “Happiest Cities” award. Changsha was awarded the honorary title of a "Vibrant City” as an individual award for the first time.

  • Newly-renovated Moon Island Bridge Reopens to Traffic

    The photo, taken on November 25, shows the newly-renovated Moon Island Bridge section of the Changsha Belt Expressway. It has reopened to two-way traffic till that day. The northwest section of the Changsha Belt Expressway started renovation and upgrading at the end of August. The Moon Island Bridge has got its deck fully paved and its main bridge telescopic device repaired. The driving environment has been obviously improved.

  • Hunan “Belt and Road” Green Expo to Open in Changsha

    The 2019 Hunan “Belt and Road” Green Expo, and also a green industrial development forum, will be held in Changsha between December 6 and 8. More than 400 enterprises from North and South America, Europe, Asia, and Oceania will participate, to share opportunities for green economic development.

  • Changsha’s Landmark Buildings Lit up to Celebrate Changsha’s 12th “Happiest Cities” Award

    The 13th “Happiest Cities in China” rankings were released on November 25. Changsha City was on the list. This is Changsha’s 12th “Happiest Cities” award. On that evening, Changsha’s landmark buildings like Wanda Plaza and Yunda Square were lit up to mark this event.

  • Hunan-Malanshan International E-sports Festival 2019 Concludes

    The 3-day Hunan-Malanshan International E-sports Festival (IEF) 2019 ended on November 24. Hunan Vice Governor Wu Guiying; South Korea’s National Assembly Member Lee Won-wook; CPC Changsha Municipal Committee Deputy Secretary Zhu Jian; and, Changsha Vice Mayor Liao Jianhua attended.

  • Job Fair for Graduates Majoring in Medicine and Health Care Held

    The photo, taken on November 23, shows job seekers at a job fair, which is held at the Dongtang Campus of Hunan University of Chinese Medicine. The job fair for college graduates 2019-2020 who are majoring in medicine and health care attracted more than 230 employers like hospitals, schools, and enterprises. Over 10,000 positions have been offered.
