  • Foreign Friends Experience Hunan Intangible Cultural Heritage in Changsha

    Hunan Library held an intangible cultural heritage activity on theme of “charming intangible cultural heritage and splendid Hunan” at the Intangible Cultural Heritage Hall in Yuhua District, Changsha on August 25. More than 100 foreign friends from over 20 countries experienced the unique charm of Hunan culture here.

    A Chinese character art exhibition opened at Xie Zilong Photography Museum on August 24, and will continue until October 27. Chinese character observation and interaction activities are offered. Special exhibition areas are set up to present Chinese characters in a novel and interesting way.

  • 5 Hunanese Cities Make List of China’s Top 100 Cities with Most Potential

    The Tsinghua Evergrande Institute, a Chinese think tank, released a Report on Chinese Cities’ Development Potential Rankings 2019, and the list of China’s Top 100 Cities with the most potential. Hunan has five cities on the list: Changsha (12th); Xiangtan (74th); Zhuzhou (77th); Yueyang (83rd); and, Hengyang (86th).
