  • Sino-Italian Joint Painting Exhibition Opens in Changsha

    The photos above, taken on December 11, shows visitors view painting works during an exhibition of works by Italian contemporary famous artist Sandro Trotti and Chinese artist Lei Xiaozhou at the Li Zijian Art Museum in Changsha. The exhibition kicked off there that day. It displays 217 art works including oil paintings by these two artists. It is open to the public free of charge and will last until January 12, 2020.

  • Hunan’s Foreign Trade Maintains a Steady Growth in First 11 Months

    Hunan’s foreign trade has maintained a rapid growth in 2019. According to the Changsha Customs, during the January-November period, Hunan’s imports and exports amounted to 392.35 billion CNY, a year-on-year growth of 46.3%. Exports rose 60.6% to 277.02 billion CNY, while exports grew 20.4% to 115.33 billion CNY.

  • Chinese Traditional Music Symphony Concert Staged in Changsha

    On December 9, a large-scale Chinese traditional music symphony concert, titled "Splendid Xiaoxiang", was held at the Changsha Concert Hall. Nearly 1,000 Chinese and foreign guests attended, including representatives from overseas Confucius Institutes, the International Society for Chinese Language Learning, and heads from Chinese Department and Chinese language teaching research institutions of foreign universities.
