Changsha Adds New National High-tech Industrialization Base
The Ministry of Science and Technology recently issued a notice on identifying national high-tech industrialization bases in 2020. Eleven bases have been approved as national high-tech industrialization bases. Two Hunan bases were included. They are: the Liuyang National Remanufacturing High-tech industrialization base, applied by the Liuyang Economic and Technological Development Zone (High-tech Zone), and the Yueyang Lingang National Advanced Equipment Manufacturing High-tech Industrialization Base.
As one of the first group of remanufacturing industry cluster pilot units of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Liuyang Economic and Technological Development Zone (High-tech Zone) has a good foundation for developing remanufacturing industry.
After years of accumulation and development, a remanufacturing industry chain has taken shape at the development zone, covering reverse logistics recovery, remanufacturing technology research and development, production and repair, testing, and product sales. In 2019, the output value of the development zone’s remanufacturing industry rose 16.7% from last year to 5 billion yuan. This laid a solid foundation for the construction of a remanufacturing high-tech industrialization base.
