New Freight Train Service Linking Changsha and Moscow Launched
Liaoning Port Group announced, on 15 October, that the China-Europe freight train linking Changsha and Moscow, had recently arrived at the Berelast Logistics Center in Moscow, Russia, marking the official opening of the China-Europe new freight train linking Changsha and Moscow.
The Berelast Logistics Center, jointly built by the Liaoning Port Group and Russian Railways, is the largest railway logistics center in Russia. It was put into operation on December 27, 2019.
The new train was planned and opened by the Liaoning Port Group, Sinotrans, Central South China International Inland Port, and the Berelast Logistics Center. The entire journey took 18 days. The train carried over 30 categories of goods including electronic products, lamps, lanterns, shoes, and bags. High value-added Huawei communication terminal equipment was also included. It will operate regularly once or twice a week.
