Changsha Launches C+C Global Youth Innovation Partnership Plan
A road show for the “C+C Global Youth Innovation Partnership Plan” was held in Changsha on May 20. The plan will continue the “International Youth Forum: Creativity and Heritage Along the Silk Roads”, and invite more than 1,000 youth representatives from all over the world to Changsha for creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship through open selection. The qualified young innovators will get technical and financial supports from the plan.
Changsha launched the plan based on its characteristics to respond to a special online dialogue of the 2020 International Youth Forum which was held that evening. The dialogue activity was hosted by UNESCO and its China National Commission, the Changsha Municipal People's Government, and the Nanjing Municipal People's Government.
The plan is a practice for global cities to implement UNESCO's Changsha Initiative. It will focus on “CREATIVITY” and “CULTURE”; provide opportunities for youth development through various measures such as funds, policies and presentations; build a platform for global youth exchanges and mutual learning; and, promote youths to make contributions in the fields of creativity and heritage.

School of Design of Hunan University, Fine Arts Academy of Hunan Normal University, and Institute of Art and Design of Changsha University of Science & Technology were awarded the “Changsha Media Arts Education Practice Base” plaques. Representatives of young entrepreneurs and volunteers shared their experiences. As the initiator of the plan, the CPC Changsha Municipal Committee Publicity Department held the road show.
