Shorter Intervals Between Trains on Changsha Metro Lines 1 and 4 During Peak Hours

Updated: 2020-02-13

In order to further prevent and control the epidemic and ensure metro operations after the Spring Festival holiday, with the approval of the relevant departments in charge, starting from February 13, during morning and evening peak hours (07:30-09:30, 17:30-19:30), the intervals between trains on Changsha Metro Lines 1 and 4 are reduced to 6 minutes and 49 seconds and 6 minutes and 37 seconds respectively. Intervals during off-peak hours are still 9 minutes and 33 seconds and 9 minutes and 40 seconds.

The interval between trains on Metro Line 2 is still 6 minutes and 33 seconds. The service hours of the entire metro network are still from 7:00 to 22:00. If there is a large increase in passenger flow, Changsha Metro will increase the capacity in time according to passenger demand.

Under the current grim epidemic situation, all passengers are required to wear masks throughout the subway ride and cooperate to complete body temperature checks.
