Hunan Takes Strict Control Measures at Various Transport Terminals
When people from all over the country were ready to return to Hunan for the Spring Festival 2020, the new coronavirus pneumonia first broke out in Wuhan, Hubei Province and then quickly spread across the country. Hunan, which is adjacent to Hubei, is facing a big test.
The CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and the Hunan Provincial People’s Government have promptly deployed epidemic prevention and control work and decisively activated level Ⅰ public health emergency response to tackle the pneumonia caused by the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV).
The province’s transportation units and departments took rapid actions to arrange relevant work. Specified guidance that fits the local conditions has been implemented. Strict control measures have been taken at various transport terminals in Hunan, including airports, railway stations, passenger piers, and highways to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus.
Ventilation and disinfection are kept at transportation vehicles, railway stations, and port passenger stations; body temperature checks are conducted for passing passengers; and, Hubei vehicles ready to enter the province are advised to return.
