Hunan (Changsha) Int’l Intelligent Transportation Expo to Open Dec. 13

The Information Office of Hunan Provincial People's Government held a press conference on December 2. It announced that the 2019 Hunan (Changsha) International Intelligent Transportation and Intelligent Network Connection & New Energy Automobile Exposition will open at the Hunan International Convention and Exhibition Center on December 13.

The expo will focus on the linkage between automobiles and energy, transportation, information, and communication as well as these fields’ deep integration with smart city application scenarios. It will fully display the achievements made in intelligent and information construction of Hunan intelligent transportation; make full use of the characteristics and first-mover advantages of the existing industrial applications of Hunan and Changsha’s Internet of Vehicles; strengthen the connection and exchanges between Hunan's intelligent transportation industry and the country's cutting-edge intelligent transportation technologies to promote the development of the industry.

With a planned exhibition area of over 22,000 square meters, the expo has set up three exhibition areas for intelligent transportation, intelligent network connection, and new energy vehicles. So far, well-known enterprises such as Telecom, Mobile, Unicom, Huawei, Hikvision, AsiaInfo, Huayuan, Talkweb, BYD, Geely, and GAC have been confirmed to participate in the expo, and professional visitors from Germany, Japan, South Korea, Iran, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Macao, and other countries and regions will attend and purchase at the expo.

During the expo, the China (Hunan) Intelligent Transportation Industry Summit and China (Changsha) Intelligent Connected Vehicle Industry Development Summit will be held simultaneously. Han Yongwen, vice chairman of the China Center for International Economic Exchanges; Zhang Jing'an, vice chairman of the China Science Center of International Eurasian Academy of Sciences; Chen Qingquan, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering will attend. They will make keynote speeches to share the cutting-edge theories and promote exchanges and development.

The expo is sponsored by the Hunan Industry and Information Technology Department; the Hunan Provincial Department of Transportation; the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Hunan Sub-council; and, the Changsha Municipal People's Government.
