2019 OTOP International Commodities Expo to Kick off in Changsha Nov. 15
The 2019 One Town One Product (OTOP) International Commodities Expo will be held at the Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center between November 15 and 17. The theme is “One Belt, One Road, and One World; One Town, One Product, and One Dream”.
With the approval of the Ministry of Commerce of China, the expo is jointly sponsored by the China Council for the Promotion of National Trade, the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, the China International Chamber of Commerce, and the People’s Government of Changsha City. The exhibition covers an area of 100,000 square meters with 8 exhibition halls. More than 30 countries and China’s provinces, municipalities, autonomous regions, and Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan regions will participate in the exhibition.
There will be folklore and intangible cultural heritages experience activities. Changsha residents and professionals at home and abroad are welcomed to taste the food, try their hands at the intangible cultural heritages, and enjoy large-scale folk song and dance shows.
The OTOP international cooperation exhibition areas are specially set up at the expo. The Asian, African, European, American, and Oceanian countries; and, international organizations are invited to display various characteristic products and tourism resources. This would promote cooperation between and among countries and regions along the “Belt and Road” route.
