In Pics: Changsha’s Flourishing Nighttime Economy

Updated: 2019-10-15

In recent years, Changsha’s nighttime economy has been flourishing. Cultural marks can be found in various nighttime activities, such as internet-famous restaurants which combine Changsha’s typical street scenes with local cuisines; street entertainers give live shows and online live streaming; and, 24-hour libraries. Late-night canteens, night markets, and fireworks shows have spurred tourism, and brought about 24-hour convenience stores and bookstores, and extended take-out and chauffeuring services. Changsha’s nightlife begins late.
