Updated: 2019-09-17

On the morning of September 15, a large-scale sand painting and flash mob activity was held at the square of Taohualing Scenic Area near Meixi Lake in Changsha, to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.

It was co-organized by the Management Center of Yuelu Mountain Scenic Area Administration, the Communist Youth League of China (CYLC) Committee of Yuelu District, Changsha City, and the Meixi Lake Sub-district Office.

More than 500 CPC members, volunteers, and residents participated. With national flag-patterned stickers on their faces and small national flags and red balloons in their hands, they celebrated the coming birthday of the great motherland and cheered for Meixi Lake’s booming development in the next decade.
