Changsha Included in Top 10 Attractive Cities for Young People
DTCaijing (dtcj.com), a data organization under China Business Network (CBN), released the Report on 2019 Ideal Cities for Chinese Youths on September 4. The report uses the term “qing he li” to refer to a city’s attractiveness or appeal to young people.
Based on big data from 25 Internet companies and data organizations, it quantitatively evaluates 100 Chinese cities’ attractiveness to young people through 8 first-class, 25 second-class, and 70 third-class indicators.
Changsha ranked 11th in its attractiveness to young people on the whole. It was 9th in the “Most Attractive Cities for Young People to live” evaluation.
Taking population, consumption, GDP, industrial structure, and other factors into account, DTCaijing assessed 100 large and medium-sized Chinese mainland cities.
The top 15 cities in terms of their attractiveness to young people are: Shanghai; Beijing; Shenzhen; Guangzhou; Hangzhou; Chengdu; Wuhan; Nanjing; Chongqing; Suzhou; Changsha; Xi’an; Dongguan; Tianjin; and, Zhengzhou.
