5G-based Unmanned Sanitation AI Robot Team Makes Its Debut in Changsha
The world’s first 5G-based unmanned sanitation AI robot team made its debut at the Yuelu Mountain University Town on August 24, 2019.
The team has six members – a waste pickup robot; a road maintainer; a road sweeper; a road washing sweeper; and, a waste collection and transportation robot.
Supported by the 5G network and AI technology, all these six robots feature high intelligence and security, rapid response to information and data interaction, and high performance in coordinative work.
The developer introduced that, the 5G technology notably increased working efficiency, while facilitated coordinative control of these sanitation robots, so as to guarantee a good completion of cleaning tasks. Based on the 5G technology, interconnections are built between sanitation robots, and the robots and the “cloud” monitor. These enable the robots to achieve zero delay in receiving and fulfilling tasks, and position and clean the wastes rapidly and accurately.
