CNETDZ’s Business Environment Index Ranks First in Central China
Changsha National Economic & Technical Development Zone (CNETDZ) ranked first in central China and eighth in the whole country in terms of business environment index, according to a report released by the 21st Century Economic Research Institute.
The report included the top 30 national economic development zones selected by the Ministry of Commerce. With the technical support of Jingdong Digital Technology, the business environment index rankings were calculated based on these zones’ scores in soft environment, infrastructure, ecological environment, business cost, social services, and market capacity.
Changsha’s good ranking in central China is mainly due to its high scores in soft environment, social development services, and business cost.
In the first half of 2019, the market entities registered in the Changsha Economic Development Zone surged by about 50%. The gross output value of industrial enterprises above the designated size increased by 10.1% over last year, and the added value of industrial enterprises above the designated size rose by 8%.
