Hunan Advertising Industry’s Revenue Reaches 15 Bln CNY in H1
The Hunan provincial advertising business revenue was more than 15 billion CNY in the first half of this year, an increase of 11.5% over the same period of last year. The Internet advertising sector developed rapidly, reaching more than 5 billion CNY. It was learnt from the Hunan Provincial Market Supervision Administration on August 19.
Hunan's advertising industry has continued to grow. There were more than 100,000 advertising business entities as of the end of June this year, an increase of 12,000 than the end of last year. The number of advertising employees exceeds 560,000. At present, there are more than 20 listed Hunan companies mainly or concurrently engaged in advertising business. A total of 17 advertising companies have obtained the CNAA Advertising Agency-Level 1 qualification, and 71 Level 2.
The construction of advertising industrial parks has been accelerating. The Changsha National Advertising Industrial Park continued to lead the country, with 651 enterprises settled down. The advertising industry and related industries achieved an output value of 3.5 billion CNY. The Huaihua Advertising Industrial Park has strived to be upgraded to the national level. There are 197 enterprises in the park, creating a revenue of 700 million CNY. The Yueyang and Changde Advertising Industrial Parks rushed to catch up with the first-class parks, with 88 and 129 enterprises respectively. The Hunan University of Technology steadily advanced the major research project of the National Packaging Advertising Research Base. The Zhangjiajie Tourism and Culture Advertising Base, and Yiyang Agriculture and Forestry Specialties and Tourism Culture Advertising Base have also kept developing on its own characteristics.
