Changsha Underwater World Welcomes 3 Dolphins from Japan
The photo, taken on August 19, shows breeders helping a dolphin move to a temporary rearing pool at the Changsha Underwater World. Three bottlenose dolphins, two males and one female, under the age of 6 years old, were airlifted from Osaka, Japan to the aquarium that day. And the number of dolphins is 9 now. The newcomers all come from the waters of Wakayama Prefecture, Japan. Each is about 2.5 meters long, with a well-balanced and healthy body. After passing the quarantine period of 30 days, they will settle in the aquarium, and meet the tourists.
