CFCE 2019 Preparatory Work Meeting Held
He Baoxiang, Hunan vice governor, hosted a meeting on August 7, to coordinate the preparations for the China Food & Catering Expo (CFCE) 2019.
He pointed out that after three years’ development, CFCE’s market-oriented operation mode is basically mature. All relevant units should further open up their minds to make more “golden ideas”, to host a world-class event featuring specialization, internationalization, marketization, and popularization. Efforts should be made to plan, organize, and publicize the event, to attract domestic and foreign enterprises to participate. The industrial business associations were encouraged to appraise and select a group of authentic meals, and promote a batch of representative dishes. He said, “We must be bold to innovate, continuously enrich the exhibition content, update exhibition methods, and increase the number of exhibitions on geographical indication products, well-known trademarks, and featured products in poverty-stricken areas.” The expo organizing committee should further strengthen overall coordination, actively promote various preparatory work, further enhance services, in a bid to ensure an impressive, safe, and fruitful expo, he added.
Luo Jianjun, associate counsel of the Hunan Provincial People’s Government General Office, and related persons in charge from the Hunan Provincial Department of Commerce, Changsha Municipal People’s Government, and the Circulation Industry Development Department of the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM), attended the meeting.
