Ginkgo Leaves Turn Yellow as “Li Qiu” Approaches

That day marked “Li Qiu”, the 13th of China’s 24 solar terms, which means the beginning of autumn. From that day on, summer heat would gradually withdraw, while cool autumn approaches. Every year, “Li Qiu” falls on the 7th or 8th of August.
