Media Group from CEE Countries Visits Changsha
A media group from Central and Eastern European (CEE) countries visited Changsha between June 14 and 15. Huo Yuzhen, special representative and ambassador of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for China-CEE Countries Cooperation; and Liu Qifeng, deputy director of the Office of Foreign Affairs Commission of CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, attended related activities.
This visit is to actively respond to the Belt and Road Initiative and implement the Sofia Guidelines for Cooperation between China and CEE Countries. It was organized by the China-CEE Countries Cooperation Secretariat of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The media group included 28 journalists from 23 mainstream media in 16 CEE countries, including Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, and Poland.

The media group also visited the Changsha Planning Exhibition Hall, Zoomlion, Yuelu Academy, Orange Isle and other places to have an in-depth understanding of Changsha’s development process, intelligent manufacturing and its exchanges and cooperation with CEE areas.
