Croisements Festival 2019 Opens in Changsha

The 2019 Croisements Festival (Changsha Stop) kicked off at the Changsha BBG Meixi Xintiandi Shopping Mall on the afternoon of May 5. The photo shows that Vincent Warin presents wonderful performances to the audience. He is the French BMX (bicycle motocross) champion and the world's BMX runner-up, and has won many awards in the acrobatic art festivals.

Founded in 2006, the Croisements Festival is a regular cultural exchange activity between China and France. This year marked the 14th Croisements Festival. More than 50 activities will be staged in 35 cities in China, involving exhibitions, music, dramas, films, book exhibitions, debates, and children’s art activities.

In the following days, a series of colorful activities will be held in Changsha:
-Symphony “Buddha Passion” to be performed by the Chinese famous composer and director Tan Dun; and the Lyon National Orchestra of France; and,
-Drama “Pyramid Scheme” starring the Chinese famous actress Jiang Wenli.
