Changsha to Strengthen Cooperation and Exchanges with China Poly Group and Sinotrans
On April 27, Hu Zhongxiong, deputy secretary of the CPC Changsha Municipal Committee, Changsha mayor, and secretary of the CPC Working Committee of the Xiangjiang New Area of Hunan Province, led a delegation to China Poly Group Corporation Limited and Sinotrans Limited to strengthen exchanges and deepen cooperation.
Zhang Zhengao, general manager of China Poly Group; Sinotrans Chairman Li Guanpeng; Zhang Wei, deputy general manager of China Poly Group; and Changsha Deputy Mayors Qiu Jixing and Liao Jianhua, accompanied them on the tour.
During the morning of April 27 day, Hu Zhongxiong visited the Poly Group and discussed related cooperation projects to be launched in Kaifu and Wangcheng Districts, Changsha. Hu thanked Poly Group for its contribution to Changsha’s new urbanization construction. As Changsha’s important strategic partner, Poly Group has provided momentum to Changsha’s development. He hoped that, through this visit of friendship and cooperation, the two sides will promote the cooperation projects better and more quickly and make a good layout from the top-level design. Zhang Zhengao said that the Poly Group will introduce more, better, and stronger projects, business models, technologies, and management modes into Changsha.
In the afternoon, Hu Zhongxiong visited Sinotrans and held talks on all-round cooperation in logistics and port development. He thanked Sinotrans for its contribution to Changsha’s export-oriented economy. He said that Changsha is making every effort to build “three centers” - the National Intelligent Manufacturing Center, National Innovation and Creativity Center, National Transportation and Logistics Center, which provide important opportunities for Changsha and Sinotrans to deepen cooperation. He hoped that both sides will give full play to their respective strengths and strengthen close cooperation in broader areas. Li Guanpeng said that Sinotrans will make full use of its advantages in branding, service networking, comprehensive service capacities, and talent and management to build a transportation and logistics hub in central China in cooperation with Changsha.
