Yichun Delegation’s Changsha Visit to Strengthen Cooperation
On April 22, Wang Shuiping, deputy secretary of the CPC Yichun Municipal Committee and mayor of Yichun City, Jiangxi, led a party and government delegation to Changsha. Changsha municipal leaders Shu Xinggang, Li Wei, and Qiu Jixing; and Yichun municipal leaders Li Xinghui, Nie Zhisheng, and Zhang Jialiang accompanied them on the tour.
On that day, Wang and his delegation visited Changsha enterprises including Suntown Technology Group, CITIC Dicastal, Flextronics, COFCO Coca-Cola, Wasion Group, and Zoomlion. After the visits, they gave a thumbs up to Changsha’s booming economic development.
At the Changsha-Yichun Cooperation and Exchange Symposium, the two cities exchanged views on economic development, regional cooperation, and business environment optimization. They signed the Changsha-Yichun Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement and the Cooperation Agreement on the Economic and Trade Cooperation Industrial Park in the Border Area of Jiangxi and Hunan. According to the agreement, the two cities will conduct extensive cooperation in 10 fields, including industry, economy, trade, infrastructure, and cultural tourism.

Wang said the delegation was deeply impressed with Changsha’s rapid development and considerable achievements. He hoped to deepen cooperation with Changsha in infrastructure, cultural tourism, ecological environment, finance, education, science and technology, major open platforms, state-owned enterprises reforms, and rural revitalization, so as to achieve win-win results and long-lasting friendship.
Shu Xinggang, Standing Committee member of the CPC Changsha Municipal Committee and executive vice mayor of Changsha, briefed the guests on Changsha’s economic and social development. He hoped that, through extensive cooperation, the two cities will set a fine example for Hunan and Jiangxi to deepen cooperation in larger regions and wider fields.
