Hunan’s Foreign Trade Growth Rate Ranks 3rd Nationwide in First Quarter
Changsha Customs announced Hunan’s foreign trade data in the first quarter on April 13, 2019. In the first three months, Hunan provincial total import and export value was over 80 billion CNY, an increase of 41.3% over the same period of the previous year. The growth rate ranked the third place nationwide. The exports reached more than 54 billion CNY, up 60.4%; while imports about 26 billion CNY, up 13%.
Statistics show that in the first quarter, the import and export of general trade was 60.7 billion CNY, an increase of 49.7%, and accounting for 75.9% of the provincial total during the same period. Hunan foreign trade grew rapidly in March, with a total foreign trade volume of 27.81 billion CNY, a year-on-year increase of 42%, and a sequential increase of 51.1%.
