Wora Wit Supachokchai, Rayong mayor, thanked the Chinese teachers for coming to Thai city to promote Chinese culture. The teachers will give instruction on Chinese culture to Thai students to help them understand and learn more about China. He believed it would strengthen traditional China-Thailand friendship.
Tian Tian, HNNU ICCLC (the International College of Chinese Language & Culture) Student Affairs Office director, said that Chinese martial arts, folk dance, painting, calligraphy, and handicrafts will be taught in Thailand. This aimed to let Thai Chinese and local students feel the beauty of Chinese culture and experience its charm.
HNNU ICCLC has held more than 40 “Overseas Chinese Seeking Roots Journey” Summer/Winter Camps since 2003. Through short-term training and multi-level academic education, it has trained a large number of key local Chinese teachers.
