Changsha Symphony Orchestra Performs in Japan
Recently, at the invitation of Kyoto in Japan, artists from the Chamber Music Ensemble and the Opera Center of the Changsha Symphony Orchestra went to Japan to participate in the "World Cultural Exchange Festival" held by Kyoto.
During the event, the Changsha Symphony Orchestra artists presented 4 string quartets, including "Happy Saleha", "Horse Racing", "Song of the Sea" and "Princess Mononoke"; 1 flute solo called “Variations on the Carnival of Venice”; and 1 female solo called “Liuyang River” for the Japanese audience. The audience applauded heartily after the performances. The deputy head of the Kyoto Symphony Orchestra in Japan also spoke highly of the performances.
