100-Day Countdown to China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo
The China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo is the only economic and trade cooperation platform affiliated to the China-Africa Forum, and Hunan’s first normalized international expo at national level. It matters greatly to the China-Africa economic and trade relationship, and is eagerly expected by Hunan people. At present, all the preparations are underway in an orderly manner. March 19 marks the countdown of 100 days of its opening.

The 1st China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo will be held in Changsha between June 27 and 29, 2019. Conferences and forums will be arranged at the Saint-Tropez Hotel; and exhibitions will be held at the Hunan International Convention and Exhibition Center. Themed with “Win-Win Cooperation for Closer China-Africa Economic and Trade Partnership”, the expo will focus on key cooperation areas between China and Africa in the new era.
“1+4+3+1+N” activity model will be adopted, integrating opening ceremony, four themed forums, three economic and trade talks, one exhibition, and several survey tours. Six exhibition areas will be set up, including African Countries; Cases and Projects; Cooperation Achievements; China’s Provinces, Regions, and Cities; Enterprises; and Online Expo.
The trade and investment between Hunan and African countries maintained a speedy growth in recent years. The bilateral trade kept a growth rate of over 50% for four consecutive years, hitting 2.8 billion USD in 2018. The China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo will bring new opportunities to Hunan’s opening up and rise.
