Changsha Promotes Smart Travel
On March 6, the Changsha South Railway Station announced the One-Year Plan on Travel Environment Improvement. It will intensify the station’s ancillary facilities, hygienic conditions, and service quality. Passengers’ concerns when taking high-speed railways, such as online taxi-hailing service and data sharing, will be gradually improved as well.
The station created a WeChat group for taxi drivers called “Lei Feng” fleet, in order to ensure effective dispatching in case of emergency and travel rush. A “one-stop” demonstration zone for independent transport service will be established, with real-time data sharing available in high-speed railways, subways, buses, taxis, online car-hailing, and parking lots.
Data connectivity will also help promote information sharing between and among railway station and platforms, transport, and traffic police authorities. Efforts will be made to improve the comprehensive management application platform of “Smart Changshanan Station”, and promote smooth operation of its monitoring and face recognition systems.
