On February 19, the very day of the Lantern Festival, a parade featuring traditional Chinese Spring Festival customs was held in Changsha. It marks the upsurge of the 22-day Changsha Fire Palace Temple Fair. Traditional folk programs such as dragon and lion dances, big head doll show, and drama figures cosplay made the public have good access to the profoundness and extensiveness of Changsha city culture.
